With travel haulted as the world confronted the covid-19 crisis, Airbnb’s homepage flaunting international destinations felt incongruent with the company’s current priorities. The updated community-centered homepage highlights Frontline Stays (Airbnb hosts offering housing for medical frontline workers), Online Experiences, and monthly stays.
I managed the creation and delivery of photo and copy assets, assuring visual consistency across the homepage. We partnered closely with the product team to make these updates within a two week timeframe. The final assets were used across the homepage well as in PR and social.
